About the Job

In this role, you’ll be overseeing all our marketing operations, including but not limited to growth hacking, content creation, and media communications. You’ll collaborate with our Clinical Care and Sales teams to produce and advertise content that engages and educates members on the benefits of personalized, root cause medicine (Functional Medicine), so knowledge in this space is a huge plus. We are looking for someone extremely driven, results oriented and independent - ready to hit the ground running, and excited to be part of a company with a strong mission of creating a world where everyone has access to functional medicine and root-cause based care.


  • Work closely with the founder to further establish and enhance a category defining brand in personalized, root cause medicine
  • Lead integrated multichannel paid marketing campaigns to deliver qualified leads that convert to revenue, maintaining 30% growth MoM
  • Own A/B testing for capturing our target audience
  • Increase growth via referral programs, content development and distribution for SEO, virtual events, as well as identify opportunities for new strategic partnership
  • Lead communications strategy, message development, brand partnerships, and media relations
  • Build and maintain social media channels and email marketing campaigns
  • Oversee and guide content creation - showcase member stories, virtual events, podcasts, youtube campaigns, (in video and article format) etc. You will be creating and managing a pipeline for developing sales assets, including but not limited to videos, one pagers, pitch decks, product demos, eBooks, case studies, and infographics
  • Hire and manage Content, Product, and Growth Marketers to help on the aforementioned initiatives
  • Gather insights from industry research, customer and user interviews, and win/loss analysis, and share those insights with key stakeholders in a clear, compelling way


  • Minimum 5+ years of product marketing experience in the startup industry
  • Experience within functional medicine, wellness, health tech and/or the HR/Benefits space
  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing successful lead generation campaigns/programs
  • Experience with content creation (Video Production and editing and Social Media)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, Web Analytics and Google Adwords
  • Passionate about GritWell’s mission to make root cause medicine more affordable and accessible. Experience and knowledge of Functional Medicine is definitely a plus
  • Demonstrable writing skills, organizational skills, creativity and attention to detail
